We’re delighted to say that Tate has won a major award in the One Click LCA Low Carbon Manufacturing Awards 2024, for our revolutionary RMG600+ raised access floor panel.

The annual One Click LCA Low-Carbon Manufacturing Awards celebrate sustainable practices and low-carbon solutions in manufacturing, including the use of sustainable materials, process improvements, renewable energy, recycled waste materials, and extended product lifespans. Each and every one of these factors will help to shape the future of global manufacturing trends, and support the transition to net-zero emissions.

The award acknowledges our commitment to sustainable practices and innovation in the Green Wood & Fibre Products category.

The RMG600+ was recognised for:

  • Our integration of lower embodied carbon steel and aluminium within the floor system, sourced from renewable-powered processes. The RMG600+ panel contains 91% recycled material and delivers a reduction of 50% CO₂e across A1–A3 stages.
  • Our hugely popular Takeback scheme, which has been running for more than a decade — supporting circularity and reuse.
  • The RMG600+’s installation in Aldi’s distribution centre and Highmark in Dublin where it has shown real, measurable carbon savings.
  • Our parent company’s €10M investment in green hydrogen steel (Stegra), a company that is pioneering new production methods for steel using green hydrogen. The investment will future-proof our supply chain and enable a huge 95% reduction in our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2026.

The RMG600+ panel has been independently performance tested to PSA Medium Grade with a 25-year warranty.
As with all Tate’s raised access floors, its performance data is fully certified with verified environmental credentials and production claims backed by independent evaluations and industry standards.

These standards - and wins such as the One Click LCA Low Carbon Manufacturing Awards – underpin customer trust and confidence, while also supporting the future circularity potential of its constituent materials.

We’re really pleased the RMG600+ has been awarded first place in its category at these Awards.  It’s a testament to the huge amount of work put in by the whole Tate team and recognises the total company’s commitment to low carbon innovation.  Since it was launched last year, the RMG600+ has proved immensely popular and we now have lengthy pipeline of prestigious projects planning to install it.
